AMI’s Board Meets: American Medical International’s board met to consider acquisition bids for the company. A group led by the New York buyout firm Clayton & Dubilier renewed its offer to acquire the Beverly Hills-based hospital management firm by offering $24 per share, or $1.7 billion, according to a document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The group set a June 15 deadline when it made the offer June 5.
