Another Hot and Cold Reception for Yasser Arafat

Thanks for publishing the interview article by Garry Abrams entitled “Warm Biography of Arafat Given a Cold, Hot Reception” (June 19).
I was quite saddened, dismayed and alarmed to learn that Arthur Alan Hart only recently found an American publisher, Indiana University Press, and that more than 40 other U.S. publishers turned down the book because they privately feared a backlash from supporters of Israel.
I find this intolerable and consider it terrorism against freedom of speech, press and expression. We as Americans have to speak out and stop this kind of censorship by Israel’s lobbies.
Once again, thank you for bringing this critical and vital information to your readers.
