Actress Amy Irving has filed for divorce from film-maker Steven Spielberg. The Superior Court petition cites irreconcilable differences in requesting an end to the 3 1/2-year marriage. Spielberg and Irving announced their intention to divorce in April. Irving’s petition said a written agreement has disposed of the couple’s property. She seeks child support and joint custody of the couple’s 4-year-old son, Max. The couple were married in November, 1985, in Santa Fe, N.M.
