Pepper: Maverick Congressman

I was saddened to hear of the death of Claude Pepper. He truly was a champion for the elderly. I hope and pray that another congressman will become as good a champion for the fetus, infant and child.
A country that spends more money on its senior citizens than it does on its youngest citizens has its priorities mixed up.
