Wright Poll

In response to “Public Not Interested in Wright Case, Poll Finds,” by David Lauter, Part I, May 18:
When I read things like this “results of a supposed opinion poll,” I wonder who in heaven’s name has been called. Fifty percent don’t know who he is--or care! Such apathy sickens me, and is precisely why our legislators can do what they please, when they please, pass laws that the general public must live by--but they don’t.
May I suggest you publishers put all stories regarding Congress and state lawmakers, city officials, etc., on your front page, not Page 25.
