MEMORIAL DAY CLOSINGS

Monday is Memorial Day, the day set aside to honor the memory of dead members of the military who served for the United States in all wars. The following will be closed in observance of the holiday:

All city, county, state and federal offices.

Schools, including colleges and universities.

County, state and federal courthouses.

City and county libraries.

Banks and savings and loans.

All post offices. Mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.

Orange County Transit District buses will be on a holiday timetable.

There will be no trash pickup Monday. Trash pickup will be a day late the rest of the week in all county cities and unincorporated areas.

All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
