1 Man Killed, 1 Injured in Sun Valley Shooting

Asuspected gang member opened fire from a car and fatally shot a 19-year-old man in Sun Valley Monday night, then shot another man in the leg several blocks away, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The first shooting happened at about 9 p.m. near Vineland Avenue and Saticoy Street, Officer Robert Peterson said. The second shooting took place in the 6800 block of Radford Avenue in North Hollywood, he said.
The man wounded in the second shooting was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, Peterson said. His condition was not immediately available.
No arrests had been made in the shootings, he said.
