U.S. Attempts to Oust Gen. Noriega
It’s so easy to be a critic without ever offering a solution. In so doing, Conrad has become famous and wins awards and is the darling of the liberals. A good example is his cartoon of May 14 showing that sending troops to Panama will inevitably lead to a massive U.S. military commitment.
In this instance a Republican President has taken action which is openly embraced by Democrats, Republicans, liberals, conservatives and most foreign governments. In fact, I haven’t heard a critic. Yet Conrad ridicules the action with no hint of what he would consider appropriate.
But that’s the typical Conrad approach--a Republican can do nothing right and he knows that if he continues down that path he will probably win another Pulitzer.
