Remote Imaging Systems Losses Narrow in Quarter

International Remote Imaging Systems said its loss in the first quarter that ended March 31 narrowed to $397,598 from a loss of $429,777 a year earlier. The company, which makes medical equipment, said its sales rose 11% in the quarter to $1.1 million.
