Forward Larry Krystkowiak of the Milwaukee Bucks underwent surgery to repair ligament damage in his left knee and could miss all of the 1989-90 season.
The Bucks, in a news release, said Krystkowiak’s “return to basketball next season would be late in the season, if at all.”
Krystkowiak was injured Sunday only 25 seconds into Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Detroit Pistons.
Krystkowiak was headed for a dunk when his knee buckled and he collapsed in pain. He was taken off the court on a stretcher.
