Bill Fahy drove Jaguar Spur to his second consecutive victory over Matts Scooter, the world’s fastest harness horse, in the $200,000 George Morton Levy Memorial Pace at Yonkers, N.Y.
Matts Scooter, the 3-5 favorite, finished fifth. Driven by Michel Lechance, he also lost to Jaguar Spur in the Levy elimination series last month.
Jaguar Spur, a 5-year-old bay by Albatross, is undefeated in seven career starts at Yonkers. He covered the mile race in 1:55 2-5 to earn $100,000 and boosted his lifetime winnings to $1,503,284.
