Japanese Investment

Finally, someone has said what I have been thinking all along.
The fear of Japanese investment in this country, especially unbridled investment, has nothing to do with racism and everything to do with patriotism. We are simply selling America to anyone with money--in this case the Japanese--and leaving ourselves vulnerable to any foreign change of will.
On top of this unthinkable and frightening crime, we have agreed to price many middle- or low-class Americans out of the real estate market--forever.
I cannot think of too many of us who can buy any home with unlimited funds. We certainly can’t compete with the millions and millions that foreign buyers come equipped with.
Greed? The current business people who are embracing this anathema are selling something all right: loss of the American Dream.
