Infinity Hits Snag: Nissan Motor Co.’s Infinity division has fallen significantly behind in opening dealerships for the fall launch of its luxury cars, Ward’s Auto Dealer said. Company officials confirmed that they will have only 45 to 50 locations open by the Nov. 8 target date instead of the planned 65 to 70. William Bruce, head of Nissan’s Infinity division, pinned the slowdown on local zoning and land acquisition problems, the trade publication reported.
