The Paris production of “Cats” has won the Moliere Award, France’s version of the Tony Award, as the best musical of the year. The award was accepted by the show’s director-choreographer Gillian Lynne. Lynne is also the musical stager and choreographer of “The Phantom of the Opera” and is en route to Los Angeles to begin rehearsals for that production.
