Weekend TV : ‘War and Remembrance’ Returns to ABC; News Shows Examine Verdict on North

The networks go to war with another Sunday crammed with sweeps spectaculars.
ABC resumes its megaseries “War and Remembrance” on Sunday at 8 p.m (7)(3)(10)(42). The concluding chapters to the $110-million production (reviewed by Howard Rosenberg on Page 1) star Jane Seymour and John Gielgud.
NBC once again resurrects some television past with “The Trial of the Incredible Hulk” at 9 p.m. (4)(36)(39). Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno return in their former roles. CBS (2)(8) opts at 9 p.m. for Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis in their 1985 romantic thriller “Witness.”
Earlier Sunday, classical music will fill the small screen as “Live From Lincoln Center” presents the 20th anniversary concert by the Chamber Music Society at 4 p.m. on Channel 28. Violinist Pinchas Zukerman and other guest artists will join in this special concert, which also pays tribute to the society’s retiring artistic director Charles Wadsworth.
