Fires Hit National Forest

ROLLA, Mo. — Eight fires burned 1,130 acres in Mark Twain National Forest during the weekend, and officials said at least seven of them were arson. A force of about 60 firefighters was able to contain all the blazes by Sunday. A spokesman for the Forest Service said the eighth fire was still being investigated.
