IN BRIEF : Adrian White Charged in Bar Incident
ORANGE PARK, Fla. — New York Giants safety Adrian White has been arrested and charged with smashing a glass into a woman’s face during an argument at a local lounge.
White, a former University of Florida star who has been working with area children in anti-drug programs, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of aggravated battery and later released on his own recognizance from Clay County Jail. He is charged with shoving a drinking glass into the face of Kannika Corder, 34, during an argument early Wednesday at Limericks Lounge, said Police Lt. James Boivin.
“It broke and cut her from her right eye to her right ear,†said Boivin. She was listed in serious condition today at Humana Hospital in Orange Park.
White, 25, also cut his hand and had to have eight stitches.
