Georgia Tech linebacker Kevin Salisbury was indicted on charges of aggravated battery and obstruction of justice in a January brawl at a restaurant in which a female student suffered a broken nose.
Lewis Slaton, Fulton County district attorney, said that Salisbury, 21, and the victim, Lisa Steffee, 26, were involved in an a verbal confrontation at the restaurant Jan. 18 after “repeated profanity†by Salisbury and his companions. Slaton said a beer was thrown on one of Salisbury’s friends, and the reserve linebacker struck Steffee with his fists.
