Is This Another Chapter for Bird-Magic Saga?

With the International Olympic Committee making professional basketball players eligible to play in the Olympics, we may be faced a court decision that has a familiar ring.

Just as in the America’s Cup, there may be a ruling that our players were “built” (see Akeem Olajuwon) and “sailed” (see Michael Jordan) with an unfair advantage that did not live up to the “spirit of the competition” and thus it was also a “gross mismatch.”
