Holly Farms Corp.: The Memphis, Tenn.-based chicken processor reported that its third-quarter profit soared to $16.4 million from $1.1 million a year ago because of a turnaround in its Poultry Products Group. Sales climbed 19% to $463 million. The firm said results reflect a 37% increase in chicken prices from a year earlier, stemming from strong consumer demand and a moderate increase in industry production.
