Price Stern Sloan Inc., a Los Angeles book publisher, has named Douglas E. Scudamore executive vice president-finance and operations. Scudamore, 45, previously was president and chief executive of Orient-U.S. Leasing Corp., a joint venture of Ford Motors Financial Services Group and Orient Leasing Co. of Tokyo.
