The U.S. Eagles national rugby team will split into two units and play a round-robin of scrimmages Sunday at UCLA with a Los Angeles all-star team.
Afterward, one Eagle unit will leave for a World Sevens tournament in Australia and the other for a similar event in Hong Kong. Tommy Smith, formerly of UCLA, will captain the Australia-bound team.
