NBC Tries the Bitter Taste of Leak Soup

An NBC executive has vowed to fire whoever leaked Gumbel’s memo (“The Gumbel Rumble: His Memo Irks Cast, Crew of ‘Today’ Show,” March 1). Isn’t this the same NBC that calls the White House repressive when it hunts for leakers? Of course, the White House is dealing only with national security--nothing compared to the reputations of David Horowitz, Gene Shalit and Willard Scott.
