FOCUS: FASHION ISLAND
Fashion Island, owned by the Irvine Co., is the fourth largest shopping center in Orange County in terms of taxable sales. Built in the 1960s, it has been undergoing a three-phase renovation since 1985. A grand opening in October is scheduled for the last phase, which adds a seven-screen theater, new stores and an outdoor food court.
