Lemon Grove

A man walking along the westbound lanes of California 94 early Wednesday morning in Lemon Grove was killed by a pickup truck, the California Highway Patrol said.
Ricardo Rivera of the 5400 block of Bonita Drive died at the scene after being hit at 3:45 a.m. by the pickup driven by George Conrady Sr., authorities said. Rivera was wearing dark clothing, a coroner’s spokesman said.
The accident occurred just west of the Broadway off-ramp, CHP officials said. Conrady was not cited.
