Fullerton’s Bach Selected MVP in Freeway League
Guard Pete Bach of Fullerton High School, who averaged 19.6 points per game, was named the most valuable player of the Freeway League in a vote of the league’s basketball coaches.
Chris Burton, who led Fullerton to a league co-championship with Sunny Hills in his rookie season, was named coach of the year.
Fullerton and Sunny Hills, both 9-1 in league play, each placed three players on the 11-man squad.
