Marcel Jacno, 84, a graphic artist who designed the Gauloises Bleues cigarette package and labels, posters and packages familiar to millions of Frenchmen and millions of others worldwide. They included the Courvoisier cognac label, the masthead of the newspaper France Soir and posters for the Comedie Francaise, Paris Opera and other leading theaters. The square, squat Gauloises package, decorated with a winged helmet and his signature in tiny print in the bottom right corner, became the most familiar. In Paris on Wednesday.
