Mandatory health warnings labels that must be affixed to alcoholic beverage containers by late this year may be placed on the side or the back of the container beginning Nov. 18, the Treasury Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has ruled. However, BATF said the temporary ruling would not be made final until a 45-day comment period that started Thursday.
