Jazz pianist Dave Brubeck is scheduled for coronary bypass surgery Wednesday at Yale-New Haven (Conn.) Hospital. Brubeck, 68, is to have two to four blocked heart arteries replaced. Doctors have been monitoring Brubeck’s problems with clogged arteries for about eight years.
