Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc.’s 1988 profit jumped 72.6% from a year ago to $152.6 million, in part because of a one-time gain from its sale of Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Mid-America. Revenue was up 16.2% to $3.87 billion, the Atlanta-based bottling company said. The company added that sales volume in cases rose about 19%.
