Naval Quarters to Be Finished in June

A June completion is scheduled for the 10-story, $13.5-million bachelor enlisted quarters designed by Archiplan design firm in joint venture with Carl Matson for the U.S. Naval Station in Long Beach.

The nearly 400-room building uses three-story, 39-ton site precast panels, with splicing implemented by structural engineer Svend Nielsen of Johnson & Nielsen Associates.
