St. Francis Boys Win 14th in a Row in Soccer
All-American forward Bobby Guerrero scored a goal in the first half and St. Francis High made it stand up in a 1-0 victory over Loyola in a Del Rey League boys’ soccer match Thursday at Loyola.
St. Francis (14-1, 5-0 in league play), ranked fifth in the Southern Section 3-A Division coaches’ poll, won its 14th consecutive game and shut out Loyola for the second time in 2 weeks.
