Los Angeles City College used a relentless full-court defense against host Los Angeles Harbor to remain unbeaten atop the Southern California Athletic Conference with an 87-66 victory.
The Cubs’ (14-8, 6-0) never-ending press gave the Seahawks fits all night. It resulted in 18 steals that turned into layups. Harbor (12-9, 5-2) was led by Keith Billingslea with 17 points. Los Angeles City had four players scoring in double figures.
