Ten families were displaced by a fire in an apartment building Tuesday night, the Anaheim Fire Department reported.
Firefighters found flames shooting through the roof of one apartment when they arrived shortly after 7:15 p.m. at the complex in the 1700 block of West Juno Avenue, Fire Capt. Don Zuber said. Four engine companies, two trucks and a battalion chief fought the blaze, which was declared under control at 7:38 p.m., he said.
The Orange County chapter of the American Red Cross was aiding the displaced families, he said.
It was not known how many apartment units were damaged by the fire, or where the blaze began. There was no word of injuries and no damage estimate. Zuber said the cause of the fire was under investigation.
