San Diego
The California Highway Patrol was looking Monday for the driver of a large, light-colored pickup truck involved in a hit-run accident that killed a San Diego motorcyclist, authorities said.
Rogelio G. Enriquez Jr., 25, of the 2000 block of Burroughs Street, received massive head and body injuries when he fell for no apparent reason from his 1982 Harley Davidson while westbound on Interstate 8 about 10 p.m. Sunday, just east of the Texas Street crossover, the CHP said.
Before he could get out of the traffic lanes, he was run over by the pickup truck.
