Hilton Hotels Corp. said its profit rose 10% to $35.2 million on continuing operations in the fourth quarter because of gains in both its hotels and casino operations. Overall profit was down 40%, however, because of a one-time gain of $43 million in the 1987 period on a property sale. Revenue for the quarter rose 15% to $254 million. For the year, profit fell 6% to $131 million, because of the one-time gain in 1987. On the basis of continuing operations, profit was up 16% at $113 million. Revenue for the year was $954 million, up 13%.
