Local News in Brief : Countywide : New Bikeways Map Available for County
The 1989 edition of the “Existing Bikeways†map has been released by Orange County’s Environmental Management Agency.
The map costs $1.62 and is available at Room 219 in the County Engineering Building near Broadway and Civic Center Drive West. For information, contact the Orange County Transportation Planning Division at (714) 834-3111.
The updated map depicts three classifications of bikeways in the Orange County system, as well as parks and beaches that are popular destinations for bicyclists. The map also includes laws pertaining to bicycle use.
