San Diego
A third suspect was arrested Friday in the execution-style slaying of an East San Diego woman, police said.
Moises Guevara, 21, was arrested at his home in the 2100 block of Ocean View Boulevard in Logan Heights, police spokesman Dave Cohen said.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Gregg McClain said an arrest warrant was issued for Guevara on Dec. 22.
On Sept. 21, Marie Thi Bradley, 25, was found shot in the head, her hands tied behind her back, in the living room of her ransacked condominium in the 4500 block of Collwood Boulevard.
Police said that the slaying was drug-related and that Bradley was suspected of dealing drugs.
A friend of Bradley’s, David Guernsey, 28, was shot in the head during the incident but survived. Guernsey, who was found outside Bradley’s condominium near a swimming pool, was able to provide police with information on the shooting.
Guevara could be sentenced to death if convicted.
Two people were arrested Dec. 6 in connection with the slaying. One is a 17-year-old boy arrested in Southeast San Diego whose name was not be released because of his age. The boy was still in custody Friday in Juvenile Hall.
The other suspect, Tamafua Trillas, 22, was arrested at a National City motel and was being held Friday in County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
