Famed pop artist Peter Max will be at the Beverly Hilton on Thursday morning when the Grammy nominations are announced. His role: to unveil his original painting that will be the official 1989 Grammy poster. It’s his first poster for a major entertainment award, and the advance word is that it depicts the Grammy in very bold, very broad and very colorful strokes.
