In Brief : Milwaukee’s Grayer Injured Again

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Bucks today placed rookie guard Jeff Grayer on the injured list for the third time this season and signed free agent Andre Turner to a 10-day contract.
Grayer, the team’s top draft choice from Iowa State and a member of the 1988 Olympic team, reinjured his knee last week in practice and might have to undergo arthroscopic surgery.
He was first placed on the injured list at the beginning of the season with chicken pox and put there a second time from Dec. 1 to 16 after reinjuring a previously hyper-extended left knee.
Grayer has played in only 11 games this season, with a scoring average of 7.4 points.
Turner joins the Bucks from the La Crosse Catbirds of the Continental Basketball Assn.
