A 24-year-old Ventura man died of altitude sickness in a remote Nepalese village, and his body has been cremated, the U.S. Embassy reported. John Fung died in Mustang, 125 miles northwest of Katmandu, on Christmas Day, the embassy reported. Fung had been on a walking and climbing tour of remote areas of the Himalayan kingdom.
