Coke’s Long Arm
Among the memories of our European vacation, there was something unusual, out of the ordinary and unexpected. This fall we crossed the St. Bernard pass on the border between Switzerland and Italy. At the very top, we visited the old abbey, the museum and the kennels where the famous St. Bernard dogs are raised. There we saw pictures and stories of these famous dogs. And the atmosphere and the surroundings are just what one would expect in this ancient mountaintop. The incongruity? The pans containing the dog food were Coca-Cola trays!
