Terrorism and the Crash of Flight 103
After listening to the stream of alibis about how little more could have been done to prevent the destruction of Flight 103 and delegating responsibility to low-level airport and airline security personnel, I feel too many higher-ups have escaped the intense questioning.
I would suggest that in the future, the citizens of the United States place responsibility for the flying safety of all of us at the highest level of government, the President. Maybe if President-elect Bush or any other occupant of the White House were forced to take the heat we would see really effective measures being taken to prevent future slaughter of innocent flyers.
