The third-annual Los Angeles Animation Celebration, which runs Jan. 26-Feb. 3 at the Wadsworth and Nuart theaters in West Los Angeles, will open with the world premiere of “Felix the Cat: The Movie� (Hungary), directed by Don Oriolo. Other new animated features debuting at the festival include “When the Wind Blows� (England), “Heroic Times� (Hungary) and “Robot Carnival� (Japan). In addition, the festival will offer salutes to director Don Bluth (“The Land Before Time�), Soviet animator Feodor Khitruk, Czech artist Jan Svankmejer and former Disney artists David Hand and Art Babbitt.
