3-Year-Old’s Body Found in Suitcase by Road in Georgia

WAYCROSS, Ga. — The body of a 3-year-old girl was found sealed in a suitcase and dumped by a dirt road in southeast Georgia, but her identity remains a mystery.
An autopsy last week at the state crime laboratory showed that the child had been dead one to two months when she was found last week, Sheriff Herbert E. Bond said.
The child had been wrapped in a blanket and stuffed inside a gym bag, which was then placed in a suitcase. The suitcase was sealed with concrete and placed in an abandoned TV cabinet.
