Rigdon Lines Up for 23 of 30 Points to Lead Mater Dei

Dylan Rigdon scored 30 points, 23 of them on free throws, to lead Mater Dei High School to a 70-46 victory over South Lake Tahoe in a nonleague boys’ basketball game at Mater Dei.
Rigdon made 3 of 6 field goals but 23 of 24 free throws. He had a streak of 54 consecutive free throws stopped in the second quarter, but made his last 15.
Rigdon has converted 50 of his last 51 free throws.
Mater Dei (10-1) led, 20-12, after the first quarter and outscored South Lake Tahoe, 17-5, in the second quarter to take a 37-17 halftime lead.
