All This and Filet Mignon

My wife and I would like to offer a word of praise for Air New Zealand. We recently returned from a flight from Christchurch via Auckland to Los Angeles. Our connecting flight from Christchurch departed 1 1/2 hours late due to the illness of a flight officer. We got to Auckland just 15 minutes before the departure of our international flight.
Upon getting off our local plane, we and four other passengers were met by an Air New Zealand representative and transported by car to the international terminal where we were quickly processed, including customs, right to the airplane. Another representative saw to it that our luggage was transferred in time. By the way, the coach meal for dinner was filet mignon!
