College Basketball Roundup : Valley Shrinks Before Riverside Big Men in Antelope Valley Tournament
Riverside College’s band of big men proved too much for Valley on Saturday night as the Tigers defeated the Monarchs, 84-70, to capture third place in the Antelope Valley tournament.
Riverside’s 6-foot, 8-inch Bobby Joyce (30 points), 6-7 Evric Gray (15 points, 13 rebounds), and 6-5 Cory Arnett (13 points) had their way with Valley (3-3).
Freshman Tory Stephens led Valley with 21 points. Andre Bouvay came off the bench for 19 points and 6 rebounds, and Oral Elrington added 16 points.
