St. Monica 69, Westlake 63--Kurt Schwan had 24 points for Westlake in a losing effort in the championship game of the St. Monica tournament. Schwan and teammate Jeff Mauer were named to the all-tournament team.

Bell-Jeff 50, Foothill 49--David Bowman’s layup with 9 seconds to play gave the Guards the championship of the Morro Bay tournament. Guard Greg Dunn, who scored 10 points, fed Bowman, who sank the game-winner.
