Mobilio Scores 3 Goals to Help Baltimore Hand Lazers a Fourth Straight Defeat, 6-2
Domenic Mobilio scored 3 goals and Carl Valentine added 3 assists Saturday to lift the Baltimore Blast to a 6-2 Major Indoor Soccer League victory over the Los Angeles Lazers at the Forum.
Baltimore improved its record to a league-best 6-1, and the Lazers are 3-5 after their fourth straight defeat.
Baltimore scored 23 seconds into the game on a goal by Billy Ronson, and Desmond Armstrong made it 2-0 moments later.
After Waad Hirmez scored for the Lazers on a pass from Hector Marinaro, Mobilio got his first goal to make it 3-1. Marinaro scored again to make it 3-2, but Mobilio scored in the third period to make it 4-2.
Mobilio and Tim Wittman had goals as the Blast broke the game open in the final quarter.
